Unique 1800’s Goffering Iron complete set. Ornate Heavy cast iron and brass base. The purpose of the iron was to create and iron pleats, sleeves, and ruffles. Great patina and authentic condition. Was part of a private collection of primitive antiques from the 1800’s. The base is 7′ wide and assembly is 10.5 high. The rod is 17″ long Barrel is 8″ long. Length with Iron rod in housing is 16 Total weight is 7.5 lbs. No construction flaws that l could see.
