This is a beautiful CG CONN Alto Saxophone made in Elkhart Ind. The serial number is M151548 which should put its build date prior to 1927. This horn was acquired thru an estate sale of a collector of antique wood-winds. He also was a player. The finish is worn as would be expected of a horn this age but the playability is very good. Strong resonance thru ought both registers. This is a nice horn for a collector or someone who enjoys restoring horns to their former glory. A classic for sure from the days when Conn was King and Selmer was just an up and coming company. Look at the pictures closely and if you have further questions just ask.
