CG Conn Silver 5 Valve Double Bell Euphonium Ser#126692 Very Rare Vintage Horn! This is a really cool horn! It is in good shape. It could use some clean up and some dent removal and the finger button for the fifth valve. Overall it is in nice shape and plays well! It has a gold wash bell on the front facing bell. The top caps, bottom caps, valve stems, water keys, valve finger buttons and tuning slide accents are also gold washed. This is a rare instrument! The outside body bow guard is missing the thin top strip (not included). This instrument is really fun to play and isn’t something you come across every day! Instrument Condition: The overall physical condition of this used instrument is. Some dents and dings. This instrument is currently in. It has approximately 80-85% of the silver finish although it has some patina developed so it is hard to tell. Player Wear: Light to. Medium general wear (visible surface scratches and wear and/or small-medium dents and dings). All the valves are in good working condition and some of the tuning slides are stuck. Valve Info: Finger button number five is missing (not included). Valves two, three and four the springs are kind of noisy. Lead Pipe Condition: Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings). Outside Body Bow Condition. Has a light dent in the outside bow with a small ding (See Pics). Minor to Medium dents and dings and minor bell. Medium dents and dings and Minor. (See Pics) This bell is missing the bell tightening screw and the brace (not included) and this bell has a gold wash bell with approximately 80-85% remaining (see pics). No evidence on either bell. Has a light dent in the bow guard with a small ding (See Pics). No Mouthpiece is included, or other accessories. But it will need. Several (See Pics) the bell front bell receiver to the body needs to be re-soldered and the body wrap to the main bell needs to be re-soldered. No broken or patched metal. The Stand: If pictured, not included. Older Used Condition (Still usable but significant signs of physical wear) there is sticker residue in a few spots and the serial number is written on the outside of the case in a couple of places. This is also likely the original case. Engraving: Made by C. Conn Elkhart-Ind- (on the main bell) Union MPBP B&SW Label (on the second valve casing under the serial number).
