The muffin bell when put into action was very loud when rung alerting others of a fire and danger original old dry surface – good solid condition there are two season splits in the handle due to age that I show in my last two photos see photos OLD – PATINA nicely turned wooden handle 5 Diameter Bells Approx. Measurements: 5″ Diameter Bells x 10″ Long Approx. I Show bell with one muffin removed exposing the interior which looks all original except for the clacker that has been Yankee engineered to replace the original that was lost sometime in this bells life… The clacker is mounted to the original wire mechanism and is out of sight, hidden within the muffins and can not be seen.
