Up for sale is a Very Rare Gretsch U. A Custom 8×14 Chrome over Brass with Original Double Box and Snap-in-Drum-Key. Grestch made a few of these for Bentley’s Drum shop. These are not in the Gretsch catalog, these were custom made and are getting very hard to find. The drum is in New Condition. You won’t be disappointed!! Nothing is Loose or Stripped or Broken. The drum looks like it just rolled out of the Gretsch factory. There are no issues to speak of. Check out all the pics and you can see this drum is stunning!! The shell is 100% Chrome Over Brass and looks Very sexy if i do say so myself! The drum features Gretsch’s Famous Lighning throw-off and butt plate. Die-cast hoops top and bottom. Original Un-Played Gretsch drum heads top and Bottom. The only thing Non-Original are the snare wires which are Puresound 20-strand Blaster wires. The Original wires had a slight bend in them when I recieved the drum so I replaced them. All you will need to do is un-box this beauty and tune her up and Play it!! I added some extra pics so you can get an idea how sweet the drum really is and take a 360 degree tour so you can see every angle. All the Chrome plating is in Perfect shape. BE THE FIRST TO TUNE THIS BAD BOY UP and ALSO GET GREAT DEAL ON A VERY RARE 8×14 Grestch C. So get this while it’s still here!! The drum has a Huge tuning range and the sound of this drum is Pure Brass. Bright, Crisp, with that Phat Crispy Rim-Shot “CRACK” that only a C. Snare will give you! Also has Crushing rim-shots and Great Side-Stick and is Perfect for the studio! The extra Depth of the shell gives this baby some girth and extra Phat-ness.
