This is a very sweet, very rare early Universal chronograph watch c 1940’s in very good original condition. Original dial may have been redone at some point long ago but it has a very nice patina today. The Landeron 48 movement is pristine & keeps accurate time. Watch dial reads: “UNIVERSAL GENEVE ANTIMAGNETIC”. The upper pusher starts the stop watch function – the lower pusher stops the stop watch function when pushed & then resets hands when pushed a second time. Overall a really great watch! Width (including crown) : 37mm. Width (excluding crown): 40 mm. Distance Between Lugs: 18 mm. Lug Tip to Lug Tip: 45mm. Thickness (Case Back to Top of Bezel): 8 mm.
