It’s in very good condition, with no broken or missing parts and it has a lot of nice detail into the brass key fob. These keys are quite scarce, they don’t come around too often. This is an original vintage key from the hotel back in it’s earlier days. The Mayo Hotel today is under the U. National Register of Historic Places which adds a bit of significance. It was built in 1925 designed by Architect George Winkler. This hotel accommodated a lot of big names who would visit and stay there. Some of them including President John F. Kennedy, Bob Hope, Charles Lindbergh, Babe Ruth, Charlie Chaplin and Mae West. There is more history on this hotel as you can find more about it on Wikipedia and other sites. I think this would make an excellent talking piece as well as a rare collectible for any serious collector out there.
