This lamp is a CREME DE LA CREME example of late 19th Century American oil lamps. The detail in this lamp is amazing with almost every single spot covered in an ornate pattern! The shade is a 4 fitter VERY RARE hand blown Oxblood Colored art glass period shade with gold tracery of a lion. This lamp has all original parts and we did not note any loss of brass. Dimensions (widest points noted): complete lamp is approximately. 20 1/2 tall to the top of the chimney. The shade is 9″ in diameter with a 4″ standard fitter. This lamp is in great condition.
