This is a Holton Chicago New Proportion cornet, with a shepherds hook. It is in very good condition. The serial number is 23834, made in 1914. It has a beautiful gold finish Holton engraving on the bell. It has a medium bore. The valves and all slides work great. This cornet dates to 1914 production. All parts are in good working condition. The trumpet does have a small amount of normal tarnish which can be polished and very small amount of normal wear and tear. No major dents or scraps. All valves and slides have been oiled and work perfectly. This sale includes a great hard case as well as an original Frank Holton mouth piece and free trumpet stand.
