Here is an antique Alidade, The maker is unknown by me and Its age is uncertain. It is old and came out of a barn near Hailey Idaho. This alidade holds a special charm with its rich brown color and sturdy brass material, making it a valuable addition to any collection of antiques or vintage items. It has an amazing brown patina, It is dusty in the cracks and I have not cleaned it. It seems extremely well built and I think it works. The compass moves freely and the optics are not damaged other than a few dust specks.
