Abernethy Lougheed 3 truck HO brass logging Climax United/PFM Rare. An ultra rare three truck piston valve Climax locomotive built by United{Japan} in 1987. These logging locomotives are also considered among the rarest of PFM models. This exquisite model depicts an open cab version of the improved Modern [1926-28] Climax locomotives with piston valves, cast truck side frames, and spoked wheels. This DC model is in excellent condition and does not appear to have been run. It has a Sagami can motor and ran smoothly during a test. The original United box & foam are in excellent condition.
