It is in excellent working condition and displays beautifully. These are not pressed glass jewels! They are cut glass jewels. The base has 28 jewels, and the shade has 16 jewels. The brass is in excellent condition. The patina is beautiful as the lamp has never been polished while I have owned it (15-20 years). One jewel has a small chip on the underside of the shade, but it is not visible on the outer side and actually appears to have been there since new. My camera skills are not the best and anything in them that makes the stones appear damaged is the reflections on the glass. I will try to get better photos upon request. This oil lamp has duplex burners and a shutter to extinguish the flame. There are a couple of small dents in the bottom of the font, but they are completely invisible when the lamp is assembled, there are no holes or stress cracks in the font. The lamp measures approximately 18 inches total to top of the shade. The shade measures approximately 10 inches in diameter. This oil lamp has never been electrified. Please view photographs and ask any questions before purchasing. Thank you for your interest. The last photo give you a better idea of the patina.
