I once had a definitive collection of Biff Bait Company lures. The two toughest ones to find are the Surface Double Wonder and the All Around Lure and Musky Special. This is very similar to the Musky Spiral, but much longer and larger. I had both the Nickel plated model and gold plated model of this lure, however this one has what appears to be luminous paint on the outside of the spiral. It no longer glows, or is old lead white paint that has yellowed. All the spiral models were painted red on the inside of the spiral. This one has the factory red paint inside the spiral which also got on the outer paint in a few places upon inspection with a magnifying glass. There is NO way to disassemble these lures without destroying the brass main shaft and line ties, certainly and not touch the 100 year patina on the brass of this lure. It’s original and factory for sure. This is the only factory painted example of this model I have ever seen and uncataloged.
