This is a premium from a cereal box in 1951. CV is for Captain Video. This brass ring originally had a flap that covered the cv symbol but rarely will this ring still have the flap. You were to lift up the flap and put a piece of paper between the ring symbol and flap and push the flap down to make the CV symbol into the paper. This ring does not have the flap and. I believe each ring had a different number inscribed (see pic). A must for the fan and collector.
