Solid Brass and Steel PEAR Old Lock and Key Very Rare May be from Europe Heavy, just under 1 pound! Antique lock clearly used but has a great patina. The mechanism is balky by today’s machining standards, but probably right for turn of century past. The key turns and the latch once removed captures the key in place by design. Haven’t exactly mastered the unlocking since I’ve owned it but it can be done semi easily.
