Antique Chelsea ships bell clock in the very rare Admiral model with the highly desirable Red Brass polished finish. Clock has a 6 face and silver dial. Bezel is hinged and latches correctly. Serial number is 143893 placing clock around 1921, works and base have matching serial numbers. Clock keeps very accurate time. Ships bell strikes correctly but strikes slowly, not a fast cadence as it should. Clock and case was refurbished recently and had a light application of lacquer applied. Because of this, there is slight brass corrosion present throughout, and case requires a weekly polish with a jewelers, or lint free rag. Overall condition is excellent. Generic brass key is included. Measures 9 1/2 high, 10 1/4 wide, 4 1/2 deep.
