Up for sale is this rare US Marine Corp Bach Stradivarius medium bore. It is a Model 181 E. The E refers to valve model (radial and lineal location of the port holes) and made in the late’30’s. Made with a #37 bell and #112 lead pipe. Case and latches are great. This was all verified by T. Waggoner at Conn-Selmer when I found this gem in 2012. It plays beautifully and has no issues or rot. Plating is very good as well. I love this horn and its heritage. Not only a great collectible but a no issues cornet. Comes with a Bob Reeves cornet mouthpiece bottom part as well.
