American clock Westminster Chime Chiming on a nest of gongs large oak case with Ormolu mounts Brass Bezel with bevelled glass. American 8 day striking Chiming movement by New Haven silent feature Crca 1880s looks original finish. Size 47cm high, 29cm wide by 20cm depth bezel is 16cm square. The feet are damaged 3 out of the 4 one is whole which will help with getting replacements. Top finals are lose but all there. Movement top part for time and hours striking is working fine and keeping time but can be a bit erratic it needs a service and clean The bottom Westminster Chime Movement is very sluggish and will only run for a day or two needs a service and clean. It’s all there even the original pendulum and key. It will make a amazing and stunning example after restoration (it is beyond my comfort zone on doing clocks up). In the 1980s Chelsea Clock Company manufactured their Eagle Series. This particular clock is rare. Solid brass weighing over 10 lbs. Guilloche covering, beveled glass around. Work well and chimes.
