Very Rare Antique Victorian Circular Folding Brass Travel Hook / Hanger Kite Marked so anyone knowing what the kite marks mean will get to know everything about this hook. I have been advised this piece was made between 1868 and 1883 but please do your own research someone who knows about kite marks will be able to identify this exactly, I haven’t cleaned it up as sometimes that can devalue antiques but I have tried to take photos of it best I can for you. This circular set of 6 brass hooks fold flat to pack for travel. They are well made and relatively strong, when hung. Weight of hooks 588g. Dimensions when folded are;-Height 26cmWidth 19cmDepth when open is 19cm central hook measures 17cm. Please see photos as I have taken them of the measurements and shown that the 4 outer hooks screw on one of the screws Will open but not tried to open the other ones. Lots of workmanship has gone into this piece and would be good to add it to someone’s collection. A Very Rare/Fine Korean. Copper/Brass Inlaid Circular Iron Box-18. Korea, Joseon dynasty, 18. A Very unusually this Iron box decorated with copper and yellow brass on the cover in. Circular shape with a swirl pattern, C-shape brass handle and ball shape lock. Yellow brass ball pulls down for lock and pull up for unlock, set on three small brass ball feet in the base. It’s in good condition with old natural patina overall, but some surface wear due to its age. It measures 6.2cm h x 10cm d. This item is in the category “Antiques\Asian Antiques\Korea”.
