VERY RARE FAST DALLMEYER PETZVAL TYPE. Made by Dallmeyer, London. There is a number 5252 to the left from the Dallmeyer Brand. Which gives the lens a solid historical value. According to measurements it has a focal distance of about 5.5 (14 cm). And a Maximum F-Value to be about F2.8. It covers up to 4×5. Lens has been professionally serviced. Looks very well with signs of use. Glass is very good without damages, fungus, fog or separation. Rack and pinion mechanism works excellent. There is a waterhouse slot for F-Stops. The brass barrel is in good condition with normal signs of use. Rack and pinion works fine. Lens is about 0.5 kg in weight with flange and a wooden plate. Height = 90 mm. Front barrel diameter = 58.5 mm. Front lens diameter = 50 mm. Rear barrel diameter = 58.5 mm. Rear lens diameter = 50 mm. This is a fantastic lens for usage or. Barrell is in nice condition. VERY RARE VINTAGE BRASS LENS DALLMEYER STIGMATIC 10.7 F6. Cover about 8×10 too. LOOKS VERY NICE WITH AGE RELATED MARKS. Glass is excellent in all aspects. Only tiniest hardly visible wipe marks. Lens is clean and clear. No separation, no haze, no fog, no chips. Aperture blades work nice. Lens barrel is in good condition with age related marks. Lens weight = 600 gr (with flange). Antique J H Dallmeyer No 1a London Rectilinear 4 1/2” F/11 Brass Lens VERY RARE. Very rare antique J. 1a London Rectilinear 4 1/2” brass lens. It comes mounted on its mounting ring. We determined its focal length by focusing light through it on to a flat surface. It may be off by a fraction on an inch either way. The numbering system for lenses of this vintage often didn’t use the standard “f” aperture scales. We have attached a table for converting the Dallmeyer scale into standard f stops. The lowest number is worn away, but we believe it to be 20, which corresponds to f/11. There is some scuffing and scratching on the barrel’s exterior, but nothing major. There are a few small cleaning marks on its glass but it is free of any fungus, haze or separation to its elements. The lens is usable for 8 1/2 x 6 1/2. It might cover 8″x10″ but we cannot guarantee it. See photos and the Description above. NOTE ON VINTAGE LENSES: We perform basic functionality tests and visual inspections of our vintage lenses.
