The Dodge Brothers started building cars in 1914 in Detroit. Online research indicates that this type of emblem was used in 1938 only on the lower radiator crankhole cover but I do not know exact model or application for this example.

This emblem from the 1950s is not a reproduction it is real and it is in great condition and have been sitting in the auto shop in a box for at least 50 years I do not have the box it was not the original box for it but it was kept very well when when I got it it was handed to me in plastic butt it is an original not a reproduction and it is 9 in Long by 4 and a half inches wide in the serial number is on the inside of it you can blow it up to see it’s kind of hard for me to see it so I left you the photos and we do accept offers if they are good enough thank you for shopping with us. This is a pair of old, Dodge, fiery copper & bronze look bookends in the shape of a Masonic Oil Lamp symbol- genie-lamp. Together they make one single, large lamp. Each stands about 4 5/8″ at tallest point, and is 5 1/8″ at longest. Together the pair weighs 4 lbs. This pair is in really about perfect condition- no dings, scratches, or even casting flaws. Both have the whole’Dodge’ original sticker on the bottom and the tag from Burrows Brothers in Cleveland, Ohio where my mother bought them in the 1930s – 40s. The item “VINTAGE DODGE INC.
