Antique Vintage “ELKHART” HEART MODEL BRASS TORPEDO SHELL STYLE FIRE EXTINGUISHER” – for your consideration, this is a very rare Antique Brass Fire Extinguisher manufactured by the “THE ELKHART BRASS MANUFACTURING COMPANY which was the signature line of fire extinguisher for this famous company, out of ELKHART, INDIANA, U. This antique has its original bronze cap and it is in great shape as the red high gloss and black enamel paint has been restored to this antique. DON’T MISS OUT!!! THIS ANTIQUE IS EMPTY & DOES NOT HAVE ANY ACTIVE INGREDIENTS!!!! THIS IS THE ELKHART HEART SERIES AND IS INCREDIBLY RARE AND IN EXTREMELY HIGH DEMAND, DO NOT MISS OUT. THIS ANTIQUE ALSO HAS ITS ORIGINAL STEEL CAGE, GLASS ACID CONTAINER, with GRAVITY STOPPER. This will make for a unique and perfect gift for any collector or fire fighter. This beauty is very old as it is a brass torpedo style extinguisher. TRULY RARE and ONE OF A KIND with the high gloss red and black enamel paint restored!!! As the pictures show, this one is polished to the point that you can see yourself in the brass body and the embossed brass plates. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!!!! The original extinguisher hose is still with this antique and I have polished the brass connections to a mirror finish. There are a few hardly noticeable blemishes, but this is because this extinguisher is not mint because it is a real piece of fire fighting history, and the copper body and brass embossed plates shine. This is an actual piece of fire fighting history and it does have some signs of use as a true tool of fire fighting history. Some of the internal liquids got on the metal at some point as caused some hazing but it still shines beautifully, as can be seen in the pictures. DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!! This will be a great centerpiece or conversation piece. DO NOT MISS OUT!!!!!!! This antique has the brass torpedo style body, and that body has been shined to a mirror finish. The construction and serial number of this beautiful antique dates this extinguisher to the early 1900’s. The brass body is in great condition, and clearly shown in the photographs. I have polished the brass connectors to a mirror finish as well. The extinguisher measures 24″ tall with an 8 and 1/4″ diameter. This is a beautiful CG CONN Alto Saxophone made in Elkhart Ind. The serial number is M151548 which should put its build date prior to 1927. This horn was acquired thru an estate sale of a collector of antique wood-winds. He also was a player. The finish is worn as would be expected of a horn this age but the playability is very good. Strong resonance thru ought both registers. This is a nice horn for a collector or someone who enjoys restoring horns to their former glory. Antique Vintage “THE ELKHART” COPPER & BRASS FIRE EXTINGUISHER” – for your consideration, this is an Antique Copper and Brass Fire Extinguisher manufactured by the “Elkhart Brass Manufacturing Company in Elkhart, Indiana, U. Which was the signature line of fire extinguisher for this company. THESE ARE EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION. This would be an excellent Christmas gift for any collector, fire fighter, or student of Americana. This will make for a unique and perfect gift for any collector or fire fighter. This beauty is very old as it is a copper & brass extinguisher with copper rivets along the back. TRULY RARE and ONE OF A KIND with the high gloss red enamel paint restored!!! As the pictures so, this one is polished to the point that you can see yourself in the copper and brass. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!!!! The original extinguisher hose is still with this antique and I have polished the brass connections to a mirror finish. Please, please, please look at the photographs as they tell the true story of the condition of this antique. The pictures tell the true story of this beautiful antique piece of fire fighting history. Extinguisher as it has a beautiful copper shell body with the original brass embossed plates. The original high gloss red and black enamel paint for the brass embossed plates has also been restored as well. I have restored the original paint on the cap and the front brass plates with high gloss black and red enamel paint. Everything on this piece just shines and tells a fantastic story of fire fighting history. This is an antique as the serial number is very low at “180260” off the original manufacturing run. Please, please, please look at all the photographs. I have shined this antique as well as possible but this was a tool to fight fires and condition of the copper shows it has been used to fight fires. There are a few noticeable blemishes, but this is not mint, and the copper body and brass embossed plates shine. There is some hazing on the metal because the interior contents of this antique made contact with its shell when being used to fight fires. This is an actual piece of fire fighting history and it does have some signs of use as a true tool of fire fighting history would. DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!! This will be a great centerpiece or conversation piece. DO NOT MISS OUT!!!!!!! This antique has the copper rivets along the back, and they are shined. The construction and serial number of this beautiful antique dates this extinguisher to the early 1900’s. The copper body and the rivets along the back are all present, in great condition, and clearly shown in the photographs. I have polished the brass connectors to a mirror finish as well. The extinguisher measures 24″ tall with an 8 and 1/4″ diameter. The copper body had been shined and the true condition is shown in all of the photographs. There are minor blemishes to this real piece of fire fighting history. The very few blemishes are clearly seen in the photographs. This antique dates back to the early 1900’s, based on its low Underwriter Laboratories serial number stamp, its rivet construction, and the brass embossed plates. Given this antique’s age, the condition of this beauty is remarkable. Also, this antique has its original hose and the brass connectors have been polished with its original fire hose still attached. Finally, this antique still has its original glass acid container, internal steel cage, and lead stopper, IT IS A REAL PIECE OF HISTORY AND WONDERFUL FIND. Overall, this is a truly beautiful piece. This beautiful piece was manufactured by the Elkhart Brass Manufacturing Company, of Elkart, Indiana , U. If you collect fire fighting history, steampunk, or Americana, do not miss out on this beautiful collector’s piece. And the internal ingredients and contents have been removed. The top cap has been bent as is clearly seen within the pictures, and I was unable to remove the cap from this antique. You may have been luck that me but I tried repeatedly to remove it without success. The original enamel paint has been restored to this wonderful antique!!! The bronze cap, with the attachment has been restored with the original high gloss red enamel paint and is excellent condition as well. Please do not expect that this antique is in perfect condition, it is well over 100 years old and was a piece of fire fighting equipment. It will naturally have some signs of wear and tear that comes with age. This is not a REPOP PIECE and is an authentic piece of fire fighting history.
