I have more photos. Just message me “more photos” and I’ll send them. The cardboard underneath is just to protect the photo box. Weight 22.5 Pounds. 6.5 Inches tall (handles not included). 6.25 inches wide (the base at the bottom). 9 inches wide (measuring from one handle joint to another). 9 Inches length (the base at the bottom). Handles are about 9 inches. When the handles are straight up its 11.5 inches tall. I was only able to find two other solds in the last 10 years of this model. One back in 2016 and 2017. Both in very rough condition. While this one is not mint I don’t think it was ever used, and most likely kept in a climate controlled environment. For being brass, and old I would say this in great condition, and can easily be touched up with a good polish. The handles move very smoothly, and the gasket cover for the screws is included, which was not included in the other to two listings. I can’t find any information on it, and the other sellers did not included much info in their descriptions. Please see pictures for details on condition. Have a good day!

Lights function, and unit moved in forward and reverse.

This Wilesco Steam Engine D 457 is a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Made in Germany, this brass engine is a testament to the country’s precision engineering. The brand, Wilesco, is well-known for its quality and this engine is no exception. It is a must-have for those who appreciate the finer things in life. All parts are solid brass with the exception of the flywheel and the bearing frame, these are brass plated only, to facilitate manufacture. The steam engine is protected against tarnishing by the application of a clear lacquer. The technical specifications are the same as for the chrome standard type, Spring loaded safety valve, dome whistle, steam regulator, steam jet oiler, flywheel of 8 cms diameter, with large grooved pulley. Base plate: 14,5 x 20,5 cm. Weight: 1,6 kg. Heating: Dry spirit tablets. Boiler volume: 450 ccm. I hate to let this go, but have to. This is one of the early D457 models, super rare in all brass (no black paint).

Up for sale is an excellent Weeden #80. The Weeden #80 is a nicely detailed and very heavy, well built engine with its lever handled whistle, sight glass, brass grommet “porthole” heat vents, swinging safety door, 2 wick burner, nickel plated boiler and blued steel stack with simulated spark arrester. As always there is some paint loss and some oxidation. The base retains most of its maroon paint and some yellow striping. The engine has a great unique swinging ball governor attached to the engine by a new spring belt. The engine has a cast iron frame and base and some brass parts. The steam pipes are nickel plated brass, the pipe is disconnected from the top of the valve box but should be an easy fix if desired. One end of the boiler is loose but also should be easy to reattach. I have displayed it for a long time without noticing either of these. The engine has a realistic slide action valve. I don’t recommend trying to run these old ones. Look carefully at the photos for the details as they are part of the description. Ken T’s book says scarce in any condition. Here is a pretty rare little oiler. It is a Powell Pointer swing top. You really just don’t see Powell swing tops. Overall, in very good condition with some minor wrench marks on the base that you would certainly expect to see on something 100 + years old. I took lots of good quality pictures, please look at the pictures and decide for yourself what YOU think the condition is and if you need or want this oiler.

Up for sale is an exceedingly rare antique early 20th century handmade brass steam engine model. It’s made with elaborate detailing and is a very high quality example. It has a gold washed finish that has acquired a nice patina from age and rests on a natural wooden display plinth. The engine alone measures 10 3/4 inches tall by 6 inches wide.
