This antique pliers type nutcracker is a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Made of brass with a gold color finish, it features three rows of radiating “teeth” and weighs 11 ounces. The nutcracker has an item length of 6 and 1/2 inches and measures 12 and 1/2 inches when open. The item is perfect for those who enjoy cracking nuts and shells with ease. Antique maps, 18th C glass and silver, and pewter ice cream molds, I realize that I need to find homes for Daphne’s treasures too: Move them on to the next generation to be held, and appreciated. I started with the “naked lady” and moved on to the “dog” – even if it isn’t an afghan! Daphne bought this walnut shaped nutcracker in the 1940’s! It wasn’t her favorite nutcracker, but it was clearly “special” to her. That does NOT MEAN I do not know what these things are worth – so please do not insult Daphne’s memory with lowball offers. This is a very nice steam engine made mainly from brass. Very unusual and very detailed. It’s been stored in a display cabinet for many years. It’s very light and has the makers name on a Plaque. 1956 is also engraved. Any help you can give me on this would be greatly apriciated. Length of plenth is 10.5. Width of plenth is 6 approximately. Hight to highest point is 9. Weight is 1.346kg. This is just a very few of a very large collection I’ll be listing over the coming weeks.
