Very rare and hard to find complete Vintage or Antique Persian Shah/King tall hookah. Bought it 35 years ago from a middle eastern family who had it for a while. It is beautifully crafted from what appears to be brass with a glass vase originating from the Middle East. This pre-owned exquisite piece showcases intricate designs and artistic details typical of traditional Persian craftsmanship. The hookah would make a stunning addition to any antique collection or as a standalone piece in a unique and stylish home decor setting. Its large/tall size adds a significant and eye-catching presence to any space it is displayed in, making it a standout piece that reflects the rich history and artistry of the Middle East region. Approx 37.5 Height. It is likely a 19th-century Bohemian glass hookah made for the Persian market. The green Hand Blown glass base features a hand-painted portrait, possibly of a Qajar Shah like Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar. Given its age, not sure if it will function like a modern hookah. But, but it is complete as far as the original parts. The hose, try, head and vase all original. Will probably need a new rubber seal between the metal and vase opening. It is in excellent condition. The solid antique brass cage around the shaker is in beautifuil shape. All the original parts are there. The Green glass is a beautiful deep dark Green. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips, flea bites, or cracks. The shaker has a lid with a screw on top. The lid fits perfectly. The shaker is about 8 1/2″ wide x 9″ tall without the handle up, and 11 1/2 tall with the handle. This is straight out my personal collection and its an absolute beauty. You won’t find a nicer one. Would make an excellent addition to any serious collection. It displays so beautifully…
