Model T Ford Brass era bale door handles. Solid brass stirrup or balehandles for early brass era cars. These appear to be authentic vintage Ford balehandles as used on some Model T Ford closed cars of the early 1920’s. They are a matched pair of solid brass handles in great condition. Handles are 3 ½ inches wide 5/16″ square shaft 2 3/16″. I searched for years to find any bale handles and these are the finest and the last pair I have to sell!

PAIR ANTIQUE BRASS FINGER PLATES & DOOR KNOBS BY CHRISTOPHER DRESSER. An opportunity to acquire an ULTRA rare pair of exceptional quality late Victorian Aesthetic Movement brass & copper 12 finger plates and door knobs, almost certainly by the sought-after genius designer: Christopher Dresser, for Benham & Froud. The bi-metal manufacturing design is beautifully crafted in brass and copper, the finger plates have the maker’s mark (orb & cross) stamped on the rear and a patent number on the front face. The pair of knobs don’t have a maker’s mark but were supplied (and probably reclaimed) together with the finger plates. The finger plates each have four fixing holes as do the knobs which are not sprung. Date: late 19th Century Aesthetic Movement circa 1880. The finger plates are in exceptional (museum quality in my opinion) condition with no loss of detail. They have been lightly and sensitively cleaned on the front face but exhibit tarnish on the rear. The knobs are in fair to good condition but each one has a mildly depressed section in the copper face. Dimensions per finger plate: Height: 30.551 cm (12.028″) Width: 7.579 cm (2.983″) Thickness: 0.164 cm (0.064). Dimensions per handle: Backplate diameter: 5.960 cm (2.346″) Knob diameter: 5.299 cm (2.086″) Projection: 6.661 cm (2.622). Weight: 1046 g combined (4 pieces plus door handle bar). A lovely and very rare pair of Scots outdoor curling stone handles, complete with bolts, the handles are made of stunning Brass with solid Rosewood grips. The most stunning pair of curling stone handle I have ever seen, these are very unusual in that they have thumb rests on the handle grip for the Curlers thumb, in addition the boss or Brass disc at the base of the handle is much larger than usual measuring 3.5 rather than the usual 2.5 These handles exude quality as can be seen by the stunning Rose Wood grips and their lovely grain patter, these are rare and in stunning condition. The handles are made from Brass and have lovely solid Ebony hardwood grips. Ideal for Scots or Curlers anywhere.
