With brass end caps. Truly an unusual and classic beauty. Be aware that one of the sides, the inches-only side, is overall darker and more discolored from use than the other. Numerals are done in turn-of-the-20th-century font, look etched into the wood, and measure both in inches and feet on one side, in inches only on the other, by marks made along and to both edges of each side of the rule. This is a very cool piece, if not one-of-a-kind than surely one-of-a-few, not many of which can have survived notwithstanding the flexibility of the wood. Pictures were taken in cloudy natural light, with one taken indoors under halogen light. The brass end caps have NOT been polished. Also, there is a small piece of masking tape still adhering next to the brass end cap and the one hole as shown in the photographs; the hole is at the one-inch mark and looks to be original. Please see my photographs as they complete the description of this rule. This item is a rare and very hard to find large Industrial Antique brass fitter circa the early 1900’s. There is a fitter screw missing, but we replaced it with an older one. Edwardian Desk Lamp Art Deco Anglepoise 1930s. Here we have a beautiful example of an original vintage 1930s swan neck table or desk lamp. Adjustable shade fixing and long cable, iconic for period neck on/off switch. Patina is brass finish as per the photos. Green enamelled shade with white interior which casts a beautiful ambient glow when on and leaves an amazing impression when off. Excellent condition and the Era is early 1930’s. Very rare Classic art deco table lamp with a brass circular stem and round base. This lamp has an original green and white glaze metal shade. Iconic for this period. The stem and base is in good condition but has some denting, scratching and rub. However still gives a simple but classy look. The shade is in great condition with some chips to the edges. The screws are clean. A charming art deco table lamp. Very cool, vintage mid century industrial and possibly Spanish style sling chair with nice, heavy black leather. I have only found 1 picture of an example of this seat and it yielded me very little information. The frame is made of iron and brass and is very sturdy and has a beautiful light patina to it. The leather seat portion is in perfect shape for the age and is fully functional as a seat. You will have a hard time finding another one for sale as I have searched high and low for one.
