VERY RARE MEDIUM ANTIQUE BUTTON Featuring An Ultra Rare Prong-set Saphiret
This is a fine example of an Art Noveau style Victorian button done with a cold-painted enamel front and sporting an ultra-rare prong-set Saphiret stone. The button is approximately 1 inch in diameter. This button is as found in an estate and I have not cleaned it in any way. Note the display holding the button in the pix is not included.

Upon getting this from a friend in order to list, she informed me that many years ago, there was a’sample’ sale that she took. Of and of course there was only one and she grabbed it! I can see why as it takes me back to the 70’s when I wanted that fringed jacket!! Looking at this and photographing it, I can see she rarely used it as she had many, many handbags. I took a good picture in the daylight of the back of the bag because that’s really the only place I can see any sort of imperfection; lower right, maybe oil based spot. Either way, I doubt you’ll find another of these so if this is your style, it’s time for you to grab it. I didn’t really put a width measurement, only a length because when this is lying flat, it’s flat with no way to stand up as if it were 3 wide or so between the back and front material. (pic#5 shows the magnet sewn into the leather). Thank you for your understanding of this and the fact that I have no control of your item once it leaves my very capable hands. Thank you for perusing our site and God bless. This item is in the category “Clothing, Shoes & Accessories\Women\Women’s Bags & Handbags”. The seller is “jaralu44″ and is located in this country: US.
