This is an exceptional example of Leica’s premier lens. Solid brass, at 301g. It includes the rare and costly lens hood, Part 12586. You want a Version 2, with serial number greater than #1844xxx. Many don’t know that Leica used the same optics & lens coatings on this model (11 114) all the way from late 1961, until 2004. Its is superior to V1. Starting in 2004 is somewhat better. Please refer to the pictures. Minimal signs of wear. No apparent cleaning marks. Glass is clean and clear, especially for a non-weather sealed design (none are). Blades are dry and show minimal wear.
