BALLPOINT & FOUNTAIN PEN – FINE NIB. MADE IN UK Q1 1994 – DATE CODE IIII. For your consideration I have this extremely rare Parker 45 TX ballpoint & fountain pen in a Matte BLACK Epoxy finish with gold plated trims. Experimental and one off model. The fountain is fitted with a gold plated nib in a Fine point. The pens were made in the UK in Q1 1994 (Parker date code IIII). Comes in a deluxe Parker gift box, complete with a Parker aeromatic converter for the fountain pen. The Black Parker 45 “TX” from. The Parker 45 TX was made between 1979 and ended production in 1983 giving it a fairly short lifespan. As a result not that many were produced making this pen a bit of a rarity. All were made at Parker’s Newhaven Factory in the UK. The defining characteristics of the 45 TX are the dark blue epoxy painted over brass body with gold trim and a flattened conical disk on the end of the barrel to finish it off. The Black Parker 45 “TX”. The Parker Factory in Argentina made a version of the 45 that used a similar epoxy coating in black and with a slightly raised conical end to the barrel instead of the gold button that is found on the UK made TX. The clip is also different, utilising the same arrow as found on the Parker 61 and the shell grip is usually slightly textured. Original nibs will be stamped “Parker Industria Argentina”. Often referred to as a black TX although it was never given that designation by Parker and examples are quite rare. Other black versions exist using the same epoxy finish as was found on the Parker 25B and usually without the gold button on the end of the barrel. These are thought to be experimental versions and one offs – making them rare and desirable to collectors. The photo’s are an integral part of the description. The Top 1/2 of The Barrel is polished. V Shape Clip Chrome Plated. 311 Stainless Steel Domed Top. Or see last picture P arker continued to produce the Jotter for more than fifty years and it is still in production, still with features borrowed from the original Biró patent. The first 1954 Jotters were made from striped/ridged nylon, rather than plastic and came in the colors of black, grey, red, orange and green. There was also a Flighter model (referred to as the “custom”) in all steel. The first pens didn’t sport the arrow clip, but rather a plain clip previously found on some Parker “21”, the “V clip” or “trough clip”. Also- they did not have the metal barrel tip of later models. Parker Working Oil Lamp Banquet / Parlor Lamp. Lamp base is cast iron with original gold gilding. Top of lamp or font is polished and clear coated brass and so is the burner. Burner was taken from another Parker lamp that was converted to electric. Thats why you see a round hole on one side of burner. Font is pristine with no dents. Lamp has an unique feature that I have never seen before. It has a rod under fill cap that has a cork float that will float to top when full. Parker made many things but was most famous for his library / parlor hanging lamps and and elaborate table lamps. 23 to top of chimney. 9 diameter Frosted / Etched globe. 13 to top of burner. PARKER DUOFOLD PESIDENTIAL SPECIMEN SET. BALLPOINT + FOUNTAIN PEN w/ 18K MEDIUM NIB. MADE IN UK Q4 1992. For your consideration I have this very rare Parker Duofold Presidential specimen set consisting of. A twist action ballpoint pen and. An’international size’ fountain pen. Fitted with an 18K-750 solid gold Medium nib. This is the Salesman’s specimen set issued as a replica of the 18ct Solid Gold Presidential set (part of the Duofold Gold Collection) and was used by the Parker sales staff for promotion and display purposes. Rather than solid gold, these pens were heavy gold plate over brass, but had the same weight as the real Presidentials. The specimen fountain pen was made in the International size only. The ballpoint pen is marked’MADE IN UK’ with date code’A’ (Q4 1992). The fountain pen lacks the’MADE IN’ and date code markings. Both barrels and the cap of the fountain pen are stamped’METAL’ to indicate they are not solid gold. The pens show micro scratches on the smooth parts. The fountain pen also shows some marks from posting and screwing off/on the cap. These are indicated with arrows in the photo’s. The pens come in a solid wooden velvet lined Parker Duofold box that shows some marginal signs of storage wear. The photo’s are an integral part of the description. ULTRA RARE Parker Square BRASS Center Draft Banquet Lamp VERY RARE Oxblood Shade with Lion 1890’s Original Parts. WHAT A RARE FIND!! This is from my PERSONAL COLLECTION. This lamp is a CREME DE LA CREME example of late 19th Century American oil lamps. The detail in this lamp is amazing with almost every single spot covered in an ornate pattern! The shade is a 4 fitter VERY RARE hand blown Oxblood Colored art glass period shade with gold tracery of a lion. This lamp has all original parts and we did not note any loss of brass. Dimensions (widest points noted): complete lamp is approximately. 20 1/2 tall to the top of the chimney. The shade is 9″ in diameter with a 4″ standard fitter. This lamp is in great condition. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST OF THE BEST!
