Vintage and classic 1950s period…… A most attractive and very collectable ESSO Advertising and Promotional Item of fine quality and finish, being a period Motorist’s Pill Box, with detachable lid, featuring ” Oscar ” the Esso Oil Drip Man , driving a racing car and waving. A rarely found nickel plated on brass Schrader Universal Tyre Pressure Gauge, as carried in the tool kits of RR 40/50 HP Silver Ghost ; 40/50HP Phantom ; and 20HP (RR Twenty) automobiles. A very worthy addition to anyone’s Oiliana , Automobilia and ESSO Memorabilia Collection. This appears to be quite useable, and is a totally correct example. A really desirable item of vintage & classic automobilia. This beautiful item of very rare Esso memorabilia measures approximately 1.20 inches tall when closed and approximately 1.10 inches wide across the lid.
