Yes, This is the same person who made those great double-cup mouthpieces. This is a very rare trumpet and it has been refurbished. Horn is in really nice shape. It has been professionally cleaned/serviced and ready to go. All slides/valves work great and the horn still has really nice compression. It has had some professional repair work done to it. The middle section of the leadpipe was replaced with a same bore size pipe. The mouthpiece reciever and tuning slide reciever ends of the leadpipe are original. The horn takes more of a French taper type mouthpiece, but it will still work fine with any standard shank trumpet mouthpiece. It just won’t go in as far as on modern day trumpets. I played it with a standard Bach 7C and it played really well. I believe that J. Parduba started out as a horn maker, but when his mouthpieces became more popular he stopped his horn production to focus more on the mouthpieces. Harry Glantz, one of the most famous orchestral players of his time was known to play on a Parduba trumpet. Here’s a GORGEOUS Burbank Benge 2C trumpet in C. The Burbank instruments were made when the Benge family still owned the company, and were made to the highest exacting standards. This instrument is in very good condition. Original lacquer is 85% present with minor wear. I see no serious dings. Valves (see photo) are excellent. My brass tech is a professional trumpet player and she LOVED this horn – said it plays great and very well in tune. Pictures tell the rest of the story! 1974, the Extended Range Altissimo (ERA) trumpets were designed to facilitate high-register playing with a long, narrow profile bell that abruptly flares out to 5… The Professional ERA trumpet shares the bell profile of the Clarin ERA and Olds Custom CHR models, but has a main tuning slide and a standard, non-tuneable bell. The Professional ERA appears in both the 1974 and 1977 Reynolds catalogs, replacing the standard design Professional model. 1974, 1977 Reynolds catalogs:A trumpet which features intonation improvements throughout the range of the instrument and particularly in the extreme upper range. The perfect trumpet for the section leader or performer who must play in the higher registers. A trumpet with magnificent carrying power which soars over the ensemble… Made in the USA. This is a “Used Instrument”, but is in very good condition for being over 40 years old. There are several pinks and/or light dings, but no major dents or evidence of major repair as I can determine. There is some plating wear on the instrument, particularly a small discoloration on the exterior face of the bell. All functions of the horn work as one would expect of a professional model instrument. Trumpet comes with good condition, ProTec Single Horn Gig-Bag (nylon over poly-foam, not soft-sided). This trombone has been in my family for a long time. I’m looking to sell it since I rarely (if ever) play a bass trombone anymore. It has a spring at first position to ensure fast action when moving the slide as well as threaded rotor valves to have seamless and silent movement. This trombone was made in 1969 which is known by collectors as one of the best years for the Conn instrument manufacturing. The indication for this is the M one the serial number of the bass trombone. The 73H is similar to the 62H: it is a bass trombone, dual rotor. The difference with the 62H is that the 73H has a regular brass bell as opposed to the 62H’s red brass bell, and the 73H has the main tuning slide in the bell, whereas the 62H’s main tuning slide is in the slide. The 73H has the same #5 (0.562) bore as the 62H. Like the 62H, it was produced from at least 1968 to 1972, and was probably discontinued sometime between 1973 and 1980. In a 1969 ad featuring the 60H, 62H, 71H and 73H, Conn says: We have just created the 4 finest bass trombones in the world… What Conn said in the 1970’s. Has special double rotors to F and E. The double rotor bass trombone with second rotor E tuning eliminates the need to pull the F slide to play low B, and maintains the advantage of have C and F in 1st position. The instrument not only has all the advantages of single rotor bass trombones pitched in Bb and F, but also by using the overtone series of the E valve, the player has three horns in one: Bb, F and E. The double rotor bass trombone with Bb open horn, first rotor F tuning and second rotor D tuning is the most practical combination for all types of playing the bass trombonist is likely to encounter, and simplifies the most intricate passages. To play a chromatic scale, the player need not go past the 5th position. Lustre-Conn finish over polished brass with nickel trim. Cylindrical bore 0.562.
