This is a very rare and sought after Reel by Paul Diamond that works very well. The reel is very smooth a quite, but not silent. It is made extremely well and built to last the test of time. Be aware that is a vintage apparatus and the fishing line that is used is old and may break over time. The pull is currently set to pull objects like coins, scarfs, small loads, etc. The reel is NOT weak and has a strong pull. I wrapped tape around the brass reel because the lid pops off time to time. The tape does not effect. The operation of the reel. When the tape is removed inside you will see the mechanism and spring operation. Be aware that is a vintage apparatus and the fishing line that is used is old and may break over time. I will include a link to a video that shows you how to replace the string and maintain the mechanism inside. The pull is currently set to pull objects like coins, scarfs, small loads, etc. The reel is NOT weak and has a strong pull.
