I once had a definitive collection of Biff Bait Company lures. The two toughest ones to find are the Surface Double Wonder and the All Around Lure and Musky Special. This is very similar to the Musky Spiral, but much longer and larger. I had both the Nickel plated model and gold plated model of this lure, however this one has what appears to be luminous paint on the outside of the spiral. It no longer glows, or is old lead white paint that has yellowed. All the spiral models were painted red on the inside of the spiral. This one has the factory red paint inside the spiral which also got on the outer paint in a few places upon inspection with a magnifying glass. There is NO way to disassemble these lures without destroying the brass main shaft and line ties, certainly and not touch the 100 year patina on the brass of this lure. It’s original and factory for sure. This is the only factory painted example of this model I have ever seen and uncataloged. Very Rare Penn 349 Master Mariner with Accuframe fishing reel. Cleaned and regreased the entire reel. Very very clean Red Accurate frame and Red Plates with a 2 position, T-bar aluminum power handle. Ht-100 10 washer stack, 5 carbon fiber, stainless steel main gear, pinion gear and gear sleeve. Reel spool is an accurate 2.5 black aluminum. Reel functions nicely, has some minor scratches/boat rash and/or wear but still an extremely attractive reel. See all pictures for more detail.

Up for sale is an exceedingly rare and special 1937 King Liberty 2b Trombone! This horn has been professionally played and meticulously maintained by me personally. From all of my research regarding 2bs, 1937 was the first year the dual bore 481/491 was an option. In years prior to this all King Liberty models came in a straight bore version with brass outer slides. However, in 1937 only, there was a specific option giving the purchaser the option for a nickel silver outer slide or brass outer slide both in the duel bore setup that all 2bs have today. This particular horn was ordered with the brass outer slide option. If youve ever played a 2b, 99.9% have the the nickel silver slide…. Not a brass slide. Ive played a ton of 2bs, and for me personally, the brass slide allows for a smoother buttery tone. The slide also alleviates some of the upper register quirkiness that most 2bs have. By far, this is the best 2b that Ive owned! This thing has a huge core to the sound. The horn is in remarkable condition showing no signs of previous repairs… Its just a good honest horn that has never been abused! The slide is a 9 out of 10. The dark dark dark patina looks awesome and gets compliments every where I go! Despite its rarity, This is a very good 2b that is ready to play right out of the case! This is the style Vega that Miles and a few other greats (Fats Navarro) used before they switched to their Martin Committee and Conn 2b respectively. One or two blemishes. Stunning horn and exceedingly rare. Same engraving as Mile’s horn!!! This isn’t a regular Vega. Its a Special Model.. Good to very good compression. Original Gater skin case faux! Very good condition and exra fine quality. Original key, case locks. Comes with a 1940s? Bach 10.5 Mouthpiece. MP is bent at a slight angle rare!
