Very Rare Antique Shipwright’s Set Square from 1880’s, English Victorian tool in amazing condition for its age 13 1/2″ in length and 7 1/2″ hight, and the quality material used (brass and rosewood) and the craftsmanship with the handle fastened with 4 pin set up has kept it plumb/square over the years this tool could still be used today, but this beautiful peice will definitely make a great addition to someone’s collection.

ULTRA RARE Parker Square BRASS Center Draft Banquet Lamp VERY RARE Oxblood Shade with Lion 1890’s Original Parts. WHAT A RARE FIND!! This is from my PERSONAL COLLECTION. This lamp is a CREME DE LA CREME example of late 19th Century American oil lamps. The detail in this lamp is amazing with almost every single spot covered in an ornate pattern! The shade is a 4 fitter VERY RARE hand blown Oxblood Colored art glass period shade with gold tracery of a lion. This lamp has all original parts and we did not note any loss of brass. Dimensions (widest points noted): complete lamp is approximately. 20 1/2 tall to the top of the chimney. The shade is 9″ in diameter with a 4″ standard fitter. This lamp is in great condition. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST OF THE BEST! It is unusual in that the angle between the blade and the body can be adjusted and then fixed by use of the thumbscrew. So the blade can be held accurately at any chosen angle to the body. The body has 4 flat sides at right angles to each other. And two sides at 135 degrees to the adjacent side, please see the photo. In 35 years dealing with antique tools this is the first one we have seen by Edward Preston so this must be very rare, a collectors item.
