Very Rare Pair of STIFFEL Mid-Century Parzinger Style Solid Brass Lamps c. Our specialties are original period collectibles, with a focus on the French Empire, Art Deco, and Art Nouveau styles. Our paintings and sculptures range from the 17th C. To the modern era, and inspection of our merchandise is FREE in our Roger’s Park (Chicago) private gallery. Up for your consideration is a gorgeous pair of Stiffel lamps, made of plated brass, c. One of the lamps retains its original sticker. They have acquired a nice even patina, and were made concurrently with Parzinger’s lamps from this same maker, although the designer of these are unknown. After much research, I have only found one matching example of these Stiffel lamps. The lamp measure 34″ tall to the top of the finial, and 26″ to the top of the socket. The base is 6.75 in diameter. They are heavy for their size. Excellent original patina and condition. They have been professionally rewired, and are ready for immediate use. No dents, dings, or restorations. Very rare one of a kind item possibly a converted alter candle piece as I can not seem to find any stiffel piece similar to this. So yes if it is stiffel it is a very early one of a kind piece. 2 bulb configuration in working condition.
