Early Leitz black Summicron 50mm f/2 brass mount for Leica MP black-very Rare! Early Leitz black Summicron 50mm f 2 brass mount. Barrel has noticeable signs of wear all the way around. Glass has a couple of microscopic cleaning marks on the front and back, not noticeable unless you shine the light thru it.. There is a also trace of light haze at the edge of the rear group of glass elements. Focusing is good, lenses was tested on a full frame digital camera , and it’s sharp. The iris ring is a little dry when you change the f stops, it could use a little lube. There is a tiny dent on the brass support that holds the push button of the infinity lock. The infinity lock works just fine. Complete with the original front black paint brass cap. It’s a quite rare lens very hard to find , and it was originally mounted on the rare Leica MP black.
