I do not know much about this piece except that it was out of a very high end estate and she had top notch items. The wood is lovely and this item is about 14 3/4 inches tall. This is a great decor item and I do not now the exact age but it looks older. There is no key but I would think one could be made or found.

This necklace is STUNNING. Gorgeous signed Antique BF & Co 36 inch necklace. Brass setting with vibrant blue glass beads and portrait of a Woman, possibly ceramic. I’m guessing the edges of the photo were turned inward to keep the portrait safe. It is over 89 grams in weight. See photos for other details and feel free to ask any questions! There is some signs of wear due to the age. At first I thought there was a crack in the portrait, but its marker!! Some of the chain has been switched out or is loose. There is a secondary layer of chain up in the middle as shown, maybe so you can extend the length if you want? It is uneven currently so I’m guessing someone did that to change the length.

Very Rare 1890s NB & IW Brass & Iron Works Plant Stand Dragon Legs Victorian
One of the highest-end models produced by NB & IW in the 1890s, featuring richly detailed dragon-leg supports and dual marble surfaces – far rarer than the standard floral-leg versions. Exceptional late-Victorian two-tier plant stand by National Brass & Iron Works (NB & IW), Kalamazoo, Michigan, circa 1890s, model No. This rare and highly ornate stand features cast brass and iron construction with remarkable serpentine dragon-head legs, scroll-and-floral openwork tiers, and two original marble inserts-both intact and free of cracks. Each dragon leg displays sharply defined detailing, with expressive faces and textured scaling continuing along the curves of the supports. The upper and lower shelves retain their original square marble slabs, showing natural veining and coloration typical of the era. The top gallery is an elaborate pierced brass design with rococo floral scrolls and raised medallion centers. 712X on the underside, this is among the most desirable and intricately cast models produced by NB & IW. The stand retains a rich aged bronze-brass patina-cleaned but not over-polished-highlighting its authentic 19th-century character.
