It’s in great condition (see photos), with the distinctive LV engraved around the rim, and heavy, magnificently crafted crystal marked Louis Vuitton Paris. It is brass, so you won’t need to constantly polish it, and it won’t tarnish over time. It’s been sitting on my desk for years and has only been filled with ink once, for effect; it’s been purely a decorative item for me. The ink never evaporated (a common issue with inkwells with seals that are not air tight) so you won’t have to refill it unnecessarily. I don’t know if you’ll ever find it elsewhere (I haven’t been able to locate this one online), let alone in the original box. It comes with a mini booklet and a funnel used to pour ink into the inkwell without making a mess; the kind of attention to detail you’d expect from Louis Vuitton.
