VERY RARE ANTIQUE COMMEMORATIVE HORSE BRASS ENGLAND SCOTLAND WALES IRELAND. A very rare antique cast commemorative horse brass with a young Penny black style Queen Victoria head in the centre of a Maltese cross with England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland at each of the 4 cross arms. Completely original and rare to find with a Queen Victoria’s head in the centre as crown centres are more often found. Wonderful harness wear and patina. In very good antique condition, lead bleed to head. Size 4.1/8 inches x 2.75 inches. The NEW horse brass collectors handbook (BOOK TWO) is now for sale, please see my other listings.
