The Raketa watches produced in Petrodvorets were exported to more than 30 countries. The first part of the Raketa watch was published in 1961 in honor of Gagarin’s flight into space. The mass production of the Raketa watch began in 1964, and by 1980 the plant produced 4 million 600 thusand copies of the “Raketa” watch.
