Presenting a very rare 1910’s – 1930’s “Fireside” Arts & Crafts floor lamp by Moe Brothers MFG Co. The lamp is from their Canterbury Line. I have provided an image from the 1930 Moe Brothers Co. The hammered base supports a shaft with 4 climbing gnomes. Three are using the toadstool to assist with their assent. One has made it to the top and smoking a pipe. The gnomes and arrow are solid brass. The base and shaft are steel with the shaft described as Swedish iron in the catalog. The paper shade is period but based on the catalog may not be original. The paper candle socket cover appears original with a few scrapes but in good condition. The socket with rotary switch works nicely. It appears original but the catalog mentions a pull chain so the socket possibly changed. Stands 60 1/2 tall. The arrow 11″ and the base 13″. We consider this 100 year old lamp in very good condition overall. Please note that we sell antique or vintage items.
