This is a rare Chinese double fusee bracket clock. This is different from most because it uses a crab claw escapement with a balance wheel rather than the verge escapement like most of the Chinese bracket clocks. The dial and hands are also much more decorative than other clocks in the same genre. The back plate is signed and the dial has a viewing hole for the escapement. Mechanically the clock appears to be complete, but it does not run. I see a slight chip in the center of the dial, a kink in the second hand that will require a repair and one of the side windows is cracked. The glass in the front door should be reglazed as well. This is a super rare clock and it’s priced to sell. If you like it, don’t miss it. Clocks like this never come up for sale.
