Unique trumpet made of a King Liberty bell (and valve caps) and a William Frank body. William Frank serial is 8801 on the valves and was removed from the valve casing. King serial is the serial added to the side valve casing, 194796. Bell and slides are silver plated, valve casing and leadpipe are brass. All slides/valves move as intended. I’ve polished the bell and also the slides, but that could be improved and the brass parts could use polishing. No major denting on the horn. The horn has bad compression issues, and I’m unsure of what’s causing it, but the valves themselves are in fantastic shape so I would assume it’s a simple fix somewhere on the horn. Priced fairly high for its good structural condition, high quality bell, perfect valve condition, and historical value as an extremely early frankenhorn. No case or mouthpiece included.
