Up for your viewing pleasure is a very nice PHILIPPINE COINAGE VOL. IV-A REPUBLIC SERIES from the PNAS (Philippine Numismatic and Antiquarian Society). The album is in pretty nice shape with a few small corner bumps and writing inside. Some pages need to be glued a little maybe, but it doesnt bother me. Im just going to sell it just like I got it 20 years ago or so. There is somebody’s writing on the inside front cover near the left edge, so maybe someone old PNAS members know who it is. This was bought probably 15-20 years ago, and I just dug it out from years of storage. It has 8 coin pages in it for coins to be inserted, and all slots have a coin in its proper place. The last page has a 1 Piso coin that I don’t believe belongs there, but this is exactly the way I got it. Page 1 is for counterstamps. Page 1 is ENGLISH SERIES coins, 1, 5 and 10 centavos. Page 2 I believe is the continuation of the ENGLISH SERIES, and has 10. 25 and 50 centavos. Page 3 is the PILIPINO SERIES, with sentimo, 5 sentimo and 10 sentimis coins. Page 4 is a continuation of the PILIPINO SERIES, with 25 sentimos, 50 sentinos and 50 sentimos coins, along with two Piso coins. Page 5 is the BAGONG LIPUAN SERIES, and includes the sentimo and 5 sentimo coins. Page 6 is a continuation of the BAGONG LIPUNAN SERIES, with 19 sentimos and 25 sentimos coins. Page 7 is a continuation of the BAGONG LIPUNAN SERIES, withpiso coins. Page 8 is a continuation of the BAGONG LIPUNAN SERIES, with5 piso coins. IInside the front cover is information on COINAGE IF THE REPUBLIC. The inside last page continues from the inside front cover. This is a very rare album with some very rare and key coins included inside the album. Most coins are uncirculated or better, but there are a couple that might have toned, whismch is very common with the 5 sentimos brass coins, like you see in the sealed 1974 proof sets. Don’t miss out on this item. It might be a few years before you find another album, let alone all the rare coins included. I will start it off at the price I paid for it around 20 years ago and see where it ends up. Should go for about 3 times the starting price. Thanks for reading this long description, and GOOD LUCK!!
