TRUMPET IS ORIGINALLY SILVER PLATED AND LARGE BORE. Bell flare is 4.75. Majority of American brands trumpets are pattered after French design including Bach, Benge, Calicchio etc.. This is a truly legendary brand and a horn hard to find in the key of C! SERIAL RANGE IS #102xxx. Bell letters are very sharp and easy to see and read. Trumpet is ready to play upon receipt. It is in great shape considering age and it appears it didn’t see that much action. Horn has minor wear / not much around valve section more like a tarnish wear and a bit near 3rd slide ring. Everything operates smoothly and valves are great. There may have been a couple of minor dings fixed on the leadpipe before my time as I can see but nothing major and leadpipe is clean. Overall silver plating is in great shape could use a bit of polishing but not necessary. This trumpet plays great and has a very sweet sound through the ranges. If I would be playing C trumpet on the daily basis I would never sell this horn but i mostly play Bb trumpet and a flugelhorn and much more jazz than classical. I hope this horn will find a good home and end up in the player hands and / or collector / player. As condition tells me that this horn was not that much played over it’s lifetime and it really deserves to be played. As photos show all slides are coming out and valve pistons are in great shape.
