Antique 15th/16th century medievel lavabo. Leaded bronze, “lavabo”, also called Lavacrum or Lavatorium is very heavy duty and has stood the test of time. 400 years of time? ! That is mind boggling to me. This is an artifact from the 15th and 16th century where it became high class to wash hands before gatherings take place. As well within religious circles, churches, monestaries, as with royals and upperclass. One of the pictures depicts where it may have hung and what it may have looked like during the time period.
