Here is a true antique folks! This is an antique brass inclinometer I believe that was made by the Patent Level Company out of Bridgeport, CT. This is so rare, it probably should be in a museum somewhere. This brass piece has a very nice dark patina that is so beautiful. I did not want to polish it or anything like that. The glass is cracked and it would have been filled with some type of liquids. There is also drilling place in one of the stars above the eagle. I’ve seen this on another one of these and I think that would have been where they put the liquid in and it would have been plugged somehow.
