VERY RARE 44 STATE SEAL -MILITIA – 7/8 DOMED BRASS BUTTON- GOODWINS 1875+ Others. He joined the army after WW I, transferred to the Army Air Force just prior to. Retired in the mid 60’s. He was a collector of many different- military, local clubs and groups, National groups. All of the items from these collections were from years from mid to late 1800’s thru the mid 1900’s. I researched this item and, because of the rarity of some of them and the lack of any sets for sale I decided to try to sell the set as a whole first. Because I wanted to keep them as found I did not remove the from the cardboard backing. This made it hard to see the printing on the backs but where I could see it I would say most are marked Goodwins 1875 but a few have other or no markings.
