BARLOW PATENT (GEORGIAN 1760). This spectacular very rare Georgian (1760) heavy brass candlestick measures 9 inches high x 4 inches wide and has original intact working push-rod-ejectors with a spring steel cage candle holderfor which J Barlow (Birmingham, England) received the patent. It is stamped with a Georgian coat of arms and have the words J. Barlow patent on the rim of the base. The brass is a beautiful yellow gold with no splits, in fact as good as the day 400 years ago when it was made.
